Here’s how to charge your vehicle by card at the Ewiva charging stations:

1. Make sure that the charging infrastructure has a POS terminal on the right side of the display.
2. Click on the Credit Card button at the lower edge of the screen and follow the instructions at the POS terminal, swiping your card. Once the transaction is accepted, the terminal blocks a standard pre-authorisation amount (or blocking amount) of EUR 60 until the actual debit amount is registered.
3. Press the button for the socket you wish to use on the lower edge of the screen.
4. When you have reached the desired charge percentage, end the session using the buttons at the lower edge of the screen. You will be asked to authenticate yourself by swiping the card that you used to start the charge at the POS.

The remaining pre-authorisation amount – net of the actual debit – will be automatically released on the card on a timescale depending directly on the bank that issued the card you have use4d. We advise you to wait a few days for the amount to be released, and if necessary contact your bank for further information.
