Ewiva, the Enel Group’s operator of ultra-fast charging stations, continues to expand its high-power charging network and announces the launch of a new station in Campione d’Italia, at Piazzale Maestri Campionesi, in a high-traffic area that is a major attraction for the region.
In fact, the new site is located across from the Casino, along the promenade that runs alongside Lake Lugano, in a setting that combines local mobility with international traffic. The location makes the site particularly convenient for the daily commutes of cross-border workers between Italy and the Canton of Ticino, as well as for the tourist traffic that flows through the area year-round.
The station is equipped with a total of 3 High Power Charging stations, including 2 charging points of 150 kW each and 1 of 300 kW, for a total of 6 charging points (PoC), designed to offer a fast and reliable service in a high-traffic location. Located within a large parking area and a short distance from bars, restaurants, and amenities, the site allows e-drivers to efficiently use their charging time, integrating it with their activities, whether during daily commutes or on longer trips.
The new charging stations in Campione d’Italia are also equipped with a contactless payment system and accept credit, debit, or prepaid cards from the Mastercard, Visa, VPay, and Maestro networks, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, in addition to the option of using an app or an RFID card from operators compatible with the Ewiva network, as well as Plug&Charge technology for compatible vehicles.
